The Presidential Decree On The Establishment Of Treasurership As The Provincial Organisation Of The Revenue Administration Presidency And The Change Of The Title Of The Existıng Tax Departments To Defterdarliks Has Been Published

With The Presidential Decree No. 161 Amending Certain Presidential Decrees published in the Official Gazette dated 3/7/2024;

• In 81 provinces, Treasurership (Defterdarlık) directly affiliated to the Revenue Administration was established.
• The existing Tax Office Directorates in 29 provinces were renamed as Treasurership (Defterdarlık) and Tax Office Heads were renamed as (Defterdar).
• Treasurer was also determined as the highest official of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in his/her province. In this framework, other provincial units of the Ministry, namely the accounting and trial units, were also attached to Treasurer.
